About the Founder

Richmond Computer was founded in early 2001 by Jon Frey, from Upper Southampton Township, in Bucks County Pennsylvania.

Mr. Frey obtained a B.A. in Business Administration, with a minor in Political Science from LaSalle University in 1996. He later returned to school to obtain a degree in computer programming from Bucks County Community College, which he obtained in 2001.

Shortly thereafter, Mr. Frey founded Richmond Computer from a small office in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. As a new small business, Richmond Computer geared its services towards home users by offering in home computer repair and upgrade services.

By 2003, Richmond Computer had established itself with clients in Center City, Philadelphia, Wilmington, Delaware, and Allentown, PA.

Today, Richmond Computer employs a small staff and provides onsite and remote IT services (and in some cases hardware) to clients throughout the five county Philadelphia region, and beyond.
